Model Photos

As my artists are all very contemporary and young I wanted to create an art gallery that was quirky and fun. A lot of my inspiration came from Geoffery Bawa and his use of courtyards. This design wraps around a central 'graffiti' courtyard meant to be a living gallery in a sense. Urban artists are invited to come in and spray paint the walls and there are also plantings to create an urban garden feel. There are 2 interior galleries for print and photo work as well as a bar with a patio that overlooks King street. I tried to play with different volumes so the entrance hallways is triple height while part of the first gallery is double height.
